The engineers at Subaru have redesigned the Outback from the ground up. And the 2020 model is sure to take your breath away. This is the sixth generation of the Subaru Outback, and it promises to be better than ever.

A Sleek New Look for the 2020 Subaru Outback

The 2020 Outback has a fresh new look with sleek curves and elongated chrome lines. Each model comes in a wide variety of eye-catching colors and exterior elements. When it’s time to go off the beaten path, you’ll certainly enjoy the impressive 220 millimetres of ground clearance.

Improved Handling

This new Outback was built on the new Subaru Global Platform, and it is much stronger than all previous models. The 2020 Outback comes with a choice of two engines, a new 2.5-litre SUBARU BOXER that produces 182 horsepower and 176 lb.-ft. of torque. This efficient powerplant pairs to a Lineartronic continuously variable transmission (CVT) with paddle shifters with a new eight-speed manual mode. There is also the available turbocharged 2.4-litre SUBARU BOXER that boasts 260 horsepower and 277 lb.-ft. of torque. Also bolted to high-torque Lineartronic CVT, this engine enables the 2020 Outback to tow as much as 1,590 kg (3,500 lbs.).

The 2020 Outback comes with the Symmetrical full-time all-wheel drive, wich includes standard X-Mode with available dual-function version that offers Snow/Dirt and Deep Snow/Mud modes. Whether heading off-road or negotiating parking lots owners will benefit from cutting-edge safety features including the award-winning EyeSight system. That exciting new system includes sway warning, lane assist, throttle management, and pre-collision braking.

More Comfortable Than Ever

Inside the 2020 Outback, you are going to feel like you are driving a luxury vehicle. The comprehensive infotainment system can be controlled with a high-resolution touchscreen that has multi-gesture capabilities. With a few taps of the screen, you’ll be able to download popular apps or listen to your favorite music. For longer trips, you can either collapse the 60/40-split rear seats or add a cargo box to the integrated roof rails.

When it comes to adventure-ready vehicles, it’s hard to find anything that competes with the Subaru Outback. This world-class vehicle perfectly blends durability, comfort, and style.
