Parts Advisor
Compensation includes: Salary base and benefits (medical, dental, disability and life insurance)
Duties of a Parts Advisor include:
- Greet customers promptly at front counter.
- Sell parts through the shop, by phone or over the counter to customers.
- Assist customer with the selection of parts, suggest companion requirements and relay specials to ensure customer is aware of product line.
- Provide price quotes and other related parts information via telephone.
- Determine availability on out-of-stock items and, if requested by customer, submit emergency order.
- Prepare orders daily for shipment, delivery or pick-up.
- Review files weekly to keep track of back orders and return to vendor items.
- Issue credit for parts returned.
- Assist with back counter parts.
Requirements for the Parts Advisor position include:
- Excellent customer service skill
- Team player
- Bilingualism is an asset
- High School diploma attained
- Having auto technical knowledge is an asset
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- Experience with computer program Reynolds & Reynolds (ERA) is an asset
