2015 marks the Subaru Outback’s 20th anniversary and the introduction of the fifth generation of the cross country version of the Legacy sedan. To celebrate the event, the Outback deserved a brand new look. Keeping the rugged and robust feel it has always inspired, the redesigned Outback is also fancier looking thanks to a more elegant, eagle-eyed set of headlamps, mimicking those of the other members of the family. The front grille adopts a pentagonal shape, very popular in the 2013-2015 wave of redesigns. The rear portion is not as “pointy” as it used to be, and slightly flatter for a well-proportioned hatch. Despite the changes, the 2015 Outback stays true to its legacy with its two-tone body, its roof rack and bulging fog lights. It’s the same vehicle without exactly being the same.

Throughout the years, the Subaru Outback has gained in volume to become the versatile cross country hatch it is today. From the get go, it offers 1,005L of cargo volume, meaning you can comfortably sit five people and pack everything they need, without restrictions. When the rear seats are folded down, you get twice the volume, reaching 2,075L when needed.

The 2015 Subaru Outback is offered in no less than nine trim levels, offering a wide array of features, including an 6.2-inch touchscreen with complete infotainment system, voice activated climate control, wheel-mounted audio and cruise control commands, heated seats, navigation, satellite radio, remote starter, and much more. Depending on the trim selected, you also get many safety features such as the EyeSight suite that includes pre-collision braking, pre-collision brake assist, pre-collision throttle management, adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning. Other equipment include X-Mode, available on CVT-equipped models, rearview camera, whiplash-reducing headrests, traction control, and a lot more!

Two engine options are available on the 2015 Subaru Outback. The base engine is a 2.5L, 4-cylinder BOXER engine rated at 175 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque. You can also opt for the 3.6-liter, 6-in line BOXER engine, developing 256 HP and 247 lb-ft of torque. All trims are obviously equipped with Subaru’s famous symmetrical all-wheel drive system, with your choice of a 6-speed manual transmission, or two versions of their CVT, the Lineatronic and the High-torque Lineartronic.

The 2015 Subaru Outback is up for grabs. Put it to the test in the snow, on the road and off the beaten paths and see for yourself how versatile of a family vehicle it can be. Visit us today!
